We exclusively manufacture our products in the USA to ensure we maintain the highest organic standards and deliver quality products to our distributors. That pack has 4 products, each one a little different, but ALL of them have humic acid as the base carbon source. It’s a smart and fun way to get your humic added to the soil while also adding some additional trailing elements like micronutrients, sea kelp, or potassium hydroxide.
Humic acids increase the water infiltration and water-holding capacity of the soil. They greatly improve the soil, increase plant root growth and metabolism, enhance seed germination, and help plants deal with environmental stresses. Another excellent choice is the EnviroPlex from Ecologel which tops the charts at 22% humic acid.
Technology
If you think poop is organic, natural, and good for plants, then think of humic acid as microbe poop. The Andersons Humate Products - Humic DG, Black Gypsum DG, UltraMate LQ and K-Mate SG - represent the next generation of soil health. These humic acid-based soil amendments are designed to reduce the effect of the environmental stresses of water, temperature and soil conditions on crops. With two technology platforms and two humic acid delivery methods, these products work in a program approach to provide the crop access to humic substances throughout the growing season.

With two technology platforms providing advanced humic acid delivery, our products represent the next generation of soil health. For more information on humic acid, the benefits of humates, and our complete line of humic acid-based products, visit our Products page. Humic acids are complex naturally occurring organic acids, found in Leonardite, with biological and physical properties that have been empirically proven to play a beneficial role in both soil and animal health. Based on years of experience, HUMAC has developed its own manufacturing process of humic acids-based products derived from one of the purest sources of Leonardite found on earth. With its head office situated in Vancouver BC and sales representatives in Toronto Ontario, we are strategically positioned to provide our B2B clients with the service and attention to detail required to grow in the Canadian market.

In other words, liquids still contain particles but they are just super super small when compared to a granular humic substance where you can see the prills/grains in your hand. People get a little scared when they think about adding an “acid” to their lawn. They wonder if it’s going to burn something, but I promise you, humic acid isn’t going to harm your lawn or soil and in fact, is the secret to getting better results, faster from pretty much every other lawn application you do.

My favorite humic acid product is the Humic12 from Greene County Fertilizer Co. If you just added only this product to your strategy, you’d get much better results and enrich your soil quickly. It contains 12% humic acid which is one of the highest concentrations available anywhere. Apply humic12 at 6 oz/1000 sq ft every month throughout the growing season.

They are often applied with microbial inoculants and liquid organic fertilizers. Our “Long Brew” technique uses high quality oxidized lignite, and allows for a cleaner, more flowable product with enhanced biological activity. Yard Mastery is working to solve everyday challenges for innovative homeowners and DIYers.
N-Ext Humic12™ is one of the primary bio-stimulants used to improve overall soil health. The 12% concentration in this product is much higher than most currently available to DIYers. With nine patents in its dispersing granule portfolio, The Andersons continues to invest in technology that provides solutions for its customers in the U.S. and internationally. Using soluble powder is by far the most economical, and even just one pound of it will go a long way.
How Much and How Often to Apply Humic Acid?
There isn’t really a need to go out and try to find one or the other separately and in fact, most humic containing lawn products contain both humic and fulvic acids. 99% of DIYers won’t need to go so far as to supplement with humic vs fulvic, just be sure one or the other, or both are listed on the label of the product you purchase. Humic acid, when looked at in its molecular form, is a little larger than fulvic acid and is better in alkaline soils whereas fulvic acids perform in both alkaline and acidic soils. Humic and Fulvic acids, are the biological core and major component of natural humic matter. They are intricate molecules that naturally occur in soil, bogs, seas, and freshwater. Humic & Fulvic acids are a fantastic all-natural and organic approach to provide soil and plants bioavailable nutrients.
Humic acid, which is the major component, creates the biological core of the humus. Humic acid can be found in a layer of soft brown coal that has not yet transitioned into lignite at concentrations of up to 85-90%. Internationally, this stratum of soft oxidized subbituminous coal is known as leonardite. Its high level of oxidation and high concentration of carboxyl groups in humic acids are what make it so functional. Specializing in wet chemistry extraction of Humin, Humic & Fulvic Acids from Oxidized Sub-bituminous Coals . Our raw material humate is sourced from Canada & The United States of America.
These compounds form aggregates with cations and clay particles creating micropores in the soil where roots, water, oxygen, nutrients, and microbes can reside. Through our proprietary Wet Chemistry extraction process, we ACTIVATE the humate molecules , making them a functional carbon. To make a 6% concentrated solution from powder– Mix the dry powder with water at 65g of powder (5 tbsp or 1/3 cup) per liter of water.Or buy the ready to use liquid. Whenever the powder is used in water, pre-mix the desired amount of powder with warm water in a separate container in order to dissolve it thoroughly before adding it to the final liquid tank.
As a company, we are building a B2B network throughout the entire country to bring the benefits of HUMAC products to communities we rely on for our quality produce and livestock. Premium humic acids based products for animal health suitable for animal husbandry. It is known as a “chelator” (pronounced Kee-Lay-Tor) which in layman’s terms just means that it helps other nutrients become more available to the plants to be utilized.
The Andersons dispersible products are designed to deliver nutrients and pest control chemicals directly into the soil. Upon contact with water each granule disperses into thousands of micro particles that move directly into the root zone. The dispersible granule is designed to reduce problems with run-off and mechanical pick up, which increases efficiency.
